Moments in Time
-
Family Owned Since '94
The company started with Rich, his old boss, and friend from the sales side of the business. Eventually, these co-founders were bought out as the business expanded and went through growing pains.
-
Push Through Adversity
Early challenges nearly broke the business. The team stopped working with contractors & property managers, enduring 18 months without a paycheck. Debts piled up, bankruptcy was around the corner...yet the team kept pushing forward.
-
Mentor Course-Correct
With the help of successful operators in the business, the team embraced learnings from industry leaders. This started in '96 and has continued through established groups like Nexstar.
-
New Growth Mindset
We dialed in on the fundamentals and established defined departments, operating systems, and scalable practices. Growth was a result of strong customer-centric processes and strategic acquisitions, which continue today.
-
Weather Any Storm
We survived several major economic crises and developed a more nuanced understanding of the levers, as well as risks, that hold up our business. Unlike competitors that over-hire and then churn their people through mass layoffs, we focus on sustainable growth.
-
Re-invest Into the Future
When most companies pulled back on marketing, employee compensation, and tech investments - we dialed in and re-invested. It's allowed us to consistently gain market share and successfully compete against large private equity companies.
